Hair and Skin Care (Basic skill programme) :-- 

Objective of the course - to impart basic skill &  knowledge to trainees in the trade of Hair and skin care so that they are able to seek employment as beautician in a beauty parlour/ saloon or run their own parlour providing basic services. 

Trainee Entry level - pass in Matriculation or 10th class examination of 10+2 system or equivalent. 
Course Duration - One year full time course. 

Course Contents :- Course includes personality development & Reception, Anatomy & physiology;  Hair Care - scalp message & shampooing, hair cutting & styling, colouring & perming; Skin Care - manicure & pedicure, facial message & make up, superficial hair removal & eye brow shaping, bleaching, etc. 

Trainee Exit Level :- On completion of the course, the trainees are expected to be able to  

• Accentuate good features with different make-up techniques;
• Maintain hands/feet in healthy condition & decorate with Mehandi;
• Cut Hair in different style & set the hair temporarily & permanently;
• Recognising skin types & treating them accordingly with various facial techniques;
• artificial colour to  hair with chemical & vegetable dyes;
• Know the technique of handling customer & present herself.

The workshop, developed for this course, is equipped with latest tools & equipment like facial sauna, vapozone, scalp steamer, etc
