Training Methodology (POT)
Duration : 3 Months
Participant Level : Vocational Instructors of ITIs/ITCs and other Teaching /Training institutes including institutes under DGE&T with 5 years experience.
Course Objective : To equip the instructor trainee with requisites knowledge and skill in instructional technology, so as to make him competent to impart training at the craftsmen and apprentices level based on sound pedagogies principles and concepts. To ensure that uniform approach and effective methods are applied for imparting training at craftsmen and apprenticeship level so as to improve quality of training. To train the participants in the preparation and utilisation of learning aids and handling of visual and Audio Visual equipments.
Course Content : The syllabus is divided into Eight units. 1. Instruction for vocation, 2. Psychology of Learning, 3. Analysis of syllabus & course construction, 4. Planning for instruction, 5. Instructional Technology, 6. Written instructional materials, 7. Measurement and & Evaluation, 8.Organisation & management of Instructional areas.
